Oh, Give Thanks To The Lord

"Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever." (Psalm 118:29)

Thank You LORD,

That we can worship You—

In the beauty of  holiness.

That in Your mercy we can come to You,

Because of Your unfailing love for us

That made us whole again.

Thank You LORD,

For the gift of eternal life.

Enduring a cruel death on the cross,

You purchased us with Your precious blood.

No good deeds that we have done—

Can ever repay all that You have done.

Thank You LORD,

For all that this new day brings—

Be it sunshine or rain.

For the miracles of life our eyes can behold

Embraced by Your mercy,

Blessings have overflowed.

Thank You LORD,

For the love that flows out  from Your merciful heart.

Through the love we give and receive—

Shared with our loved ones and friends.

But there is no greater love than this

Than to lay down Your life for Your friends.

Thank You LORD,

For Your peace that calms our life’s storms.

What an exceeding joy to know

That no matter what the future holds,

Our hope is found in You—

Now and the life to come.

Thank You LORD, for loving us first.

Psalm 100

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!

Serve the LORD with gladness;

Come before His presence with singing.

Know that the LORD, He is God;

It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,

And into His courts with praise.

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

For the LORD is good;

His mercy is everlasting,

And His truth endures to all generations.
